Welcome to The Old Post House: two riverfront homes on one booking, with a swimming pool, a fishing dock, four full bathrooms and room for thirteen. It is The Old Post Bungalow and The Postcard Cottage together, side by side on the St. Johns River along scenic Heckscher Drive.

Watch dolphins play, cruise ships sail by and massive cargo ships make their way along the water, all from the backyard. Spend your mornings by the river, your afternoons poolside and your evenings fishing off the dock as the ships glide past.

It is made for family reunions, multi-generational trips and group getaways: plenty of room to gather, and two separate homes — each with its own entrance, living space, kitchen and bathrooms — so everyone has somewhere to retreat to.

Because this reservation includes both houses, the pool and the dock are yours alone — you won’t be sharing the property or its outdoor spaces with other guests.

Tucked away near Mayport and Jacksonville International Airport, you are within driving distance of Amelia Island, Jacksonville Beach, EverBank Stadium, downtown Jacksonville and St. Johns Town Center.

Your reservation includes both houses — the three-bedroom bungalow and the cottage — each with its own entrance, living spaces, kitchen and bathrooms, plus the pool, the waterfront backyard and the fishing dock, all to yourselves — no other guests share them during your stay. Both houses have stairs. Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Pets are allowed. This is a non-smoking property, and it is not set up for events or parties.
